A 60-MINUTE CIRCLE WITH STEPH SPRENGER
Writing Midlife: A Therapeutic Writing Circle
THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 18TH at 1 PM EST/ 10 AM PST
In this one-hour therapeutic writing circle, we will free-write to a series of prompts that explore our lives as midlife women—our bodies, our relationships, the cycles of our lives, and how we nourish ourselves. This type of creative writing is designed to be more cathartic and process-focused that product-focused, but you never know when the seed of a brilliant story idea may present itself!
Our time together includes a group check-in, grounding and meditation, free-writing to prompts, sharing, and then closing the circle with connection and a Tarot card. No ideas or focus required—just bring yourself, a notebook, your favorite beverage, and prepare to nurture yourself in a quiet, comfortable space for an hour.
Here's How We'll Spend Our Time Together:
- check in with the group
- do a grounding exercise and meditation
- free-write to a variety of writing prompts
- share with the group to your comfort level
- close with connection and a Tarot card
