Pitching the Personal Essay

This workshop will dive into crafting strong pitches, and considerations for pitching an editor.
We’ll unpack the elements of the pitch, the best way to approach an editor, following up, and some helpful tips to land bylines. We’ll also look at successful sample pitches, seeing what pitches land where, and how to find pitch calls and publishing homes for our work.
The workshop will conclude with sharing our potential pitch ideas, dream publications, and a Q&A session..
