A WORKSHOP WITH DR. BAILEY LANG
How to Find Your Path: Crafting a Neurodiverse Writing Practice
MONDAY, APRIL 28th at 1 p.m. EST
Neurodivergent people know there's no such thing as a one-size-fits-all brain—so why would there be a one-size-fits-all writing practice? Popular writing advice is often written by and for neurotypical people—and it doesn't take into account the fluctuating energy levels, divergent attention patterns, and accessibility needs that go hand in hand with neurodivergence. In this workshop, we'll bust some common writing myths and discuss crafting a neurodivergence-friendly writing practice from the ground up.
Here's what you'll get from this interactive workshop...
- Learn why standard writing advice often falls short for neurodivergent authors
- Gain a better understanding of neurodivergenceÂ
- Get concrete strategies for crafting and customizing a writing practice that meets their needs and helps them fall in love with writing again
