A 1-HOUR WORKSHOP WITH RACHEL LINCOLN SARNOFF
Elevator Pitching for You & Your Writing Project
FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 21st AT 1 PM EST
When people ask what you do, is it a deer-in-the-headlights moment—or do you go on for too long and miss the point? The truth is, as creators we spend so much time immersed on our stories that we often forget how to summarize them in an engaging way—let alone say those words out loud. But this ability is critical to your success.
I know this from personal experience: I was terrified of public speaking until I discovered the elevator pitch secret that took me from the “TODAY Show” to “CNN,” plus two TEDx talks.
Here's what you'll learn:
- This workshop will help you better understand how to talk about your work—and yourself as an author.
- We’ll drill down on the essentials and build them back up into an effective elevator pitch, which you’ll practice in small groups and in front of the class.
- This content can inform your author website, social media bios, community building, query, and more.
