A WORKSHOP WITHÂ CHERYL MAGUIRE AND GINA RICH
How to Break into Writing for National Publications
THURSDAY, APRILÂ 17th at 1 p.m. EST
Do you want to write for national publications but don’t know where to start? Curious about the best strategies for pitching editors?
Our session is designed to help both beginner and seasoned writers sharpen ideas and increase the likelihood of landing those dream bylines. Both of us are self-taught writers who are passionate about storytelling and sharing what we’ve learned.
We’ll field the questions you’ve been wanting to ask and offer tips and strategies we wish we had known starting out. We will also share examples of successful pitches and provide real-time feedback on selected pitches that attendees wish to share in the session.
If you have a story you want to tell on a bigger stage, but are unsure about how to take that next step, this session is for you.
Here's what you'll get from this interactive workshop...
- Examples of successful pitches and explain why they piqued editors' interest
- Knowledge to increase your confidence to pitch national publications
- Live feedback on attendees' pitches as time allows
